Great historic vibe and friendly staff. Rooms are a bit dark, though.

great stay with excellent service

The staff provided outstanding service throughout our stay. They were always friendly, offering personalized assistance that made our visit memorable.

The hotel décor could use some modernization.

We took the kids to Kauffman Stadium, which was only a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The location was perfect for exploring, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, providing helpful tips for nearby family activities.

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly dining options available. While the hotel was nice overall, having a dedicated children's menu would definitely enhance the experience for families.

The Speakeasy was a hidden gem and a highlight of the stay, providing a unique atmosphere. Breakfast was enjoyable. however, the limited menu options detracted from the experience. Service during breakfast was slow due to only one person working. Overall, the location near the Convention Centre was convenient, but the cleanliness of my top-floor room left something to be desired.

The King Corner Room was gorgeous, but the air conditioner leaked water on the carpet.

Recommend it for families with children

My sister and I stayed here for two nights. The guys outside assisting with parking were helpful and the ladies at the front desk were amazing at check-in. The room was just what we needed, spacious and comfy for our bonding time.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

I fell in love with the vintage decor throughout the whole hotel! The beds were comfortable Plus, the location was ideal-just a short stroll to nearby attractions and live jazz at the secret speakeasy! 🎷✨

The vintage decor with a charming speakeasy vibe was my favorite! The only downside was the bed—lumpy which caused some discomfort. Overall, a fantastic stay for its unique ambiance! 😊

the bathroom needed a bit more cleaning. but the shuffleboard was really fun! the staff were super friendly, and the shower was nice and hot! plus, the art deco style was very cool and unique!

This place was a perfect match for a fleeting pause in Kansas City, great for the money. Enjoyed the cozy hideaway spots in the mezzanine for quiet conversation. Check out the Speakeasy for a unique nightlife experience.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The 1920's vibe was enchanting, especially with the hidden speakeasy and live jazz. The staff's attentiveness made our stay enjoyable despite some hiccups with room access.

My family had a decent stay here with a lovely atmosphere but the room was smaller than expected unlike the pictures shown online. The valet service is fast and friendly, and we enjoyed breakfast at the great restaurant, but there was a dusty coffee maker in our room. Overall, I’m not sure if we’d choose this place again.
